In the year 2001, two reseller of Innotek equipment met - one from the hunting area, the other one an impassionate VPGler and stated that they complement each other well.

In 2002, Frank Grzegorzek moved from Bottrop to Baden-Württemberg and the König GmbH, a vendor for sport and hunting guns became the Leroi Jagd & Sport GmbH with the brand SPORTHUND.
In a short time „SPORTHUND“ was firmly established in Germany. Early on, the team Grzegorzek/König searched professionals, such as Knut Fuchs, a multiple FCI-world champion who until today bring in ideas and their knowledge into the products of the “Ländle”.
In January 2008, the SPORTHUND took over the sales of the traditional house „Hundesport Ebinger“. Since then, the popular custom-made protective clothings complete the innovative programme of the brand with the known blue black logo.
High quality instead of quantity is the motto of “SPORTHUND”. The assortment shall not convince by his incalculable variety but by intelligent products, which are not available in every discounter. Meanwhile the “SPORTHUND” supplies resellers and end consumers in the whole world. A new storehouse in Bretzfeld is planned, numerous new products and services are in preparation.

Initially,Camel - Transport Gradlyn Kennels provided their services to the members of the US Armed Forces to transport their pets to and from Germany. Over the years, this service was then expanded to all animal species, to all countries and to all kinds of customers.

Schweikert dog sport

In 1950 Hans Schweikert realized, being an absolute dog lover and breeder of German Shepherds, that there was a large gap in supplies of dog equipment.

In these times, it was not uncommon to see dog owners bring their dogs to a dog show leading them on an old rope. Dog trainers educating working dogs for police or schutzhund trials did not have today?s common protection sleeves; some would have old jute potato sacks wrapped around their forearms for bite work protection!
Hans Schweikert reacted to these facts and founded the company "Hans Schweikert - Sattlerei für Hundesport".
He began making high quality, hand-sewn leather leashes, collars, protection sleeves and protection clothes for working dog training.

Since 1987 the company is owned and directed by Michael Schweikert and his wife Tina. Michael Schweikert has learned the trade from beginning on. He achieved the degree of a Master saddler in 1984. His professionalism and capability of innovative thinking and solving problems are his strong points.
Being an active dog handler, trial helper and training officer in a local dog club, Michael knows exactly what is needed in dog sports and for handling dogs. In cooperation with internationally successful dog trainers and dog handlers, new products are constantly developed and known products improved.
